I like the sound color of 604 but it is little bit strong in mid and high and the bass is not deep enough for me. Another thing I am thinking to try is to change network. But I am not sure if it is worth to try. Because the real problem I have with my system is the size of the room. It is about 13 by 13 foot .

(I put the loudness swich on of my amplifier and feel the sound is better.)


Would it be worth to change cabs or networks in this case?

I have been using original 612 cabs for years now! I use them with 416-8B with horns or with a duplex 604-8G using Altec 604-8G XO and it sounds incredible to me. My room is 24'x22' with about >=13 feet cathedral ceiling.
